The Williams-Franklin Foundation Awards
Boosting Academic Opportunity & Success
The Williams-Franklin Foundation is proud to offer more than twenty (20) $5,000 scholarships annually to support undergraduate students attending accredited Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Our scholarships are designed to alleviate financial burdens and provide additional professional and career development opportunities to motivated students. In addition to the scholarships, awardees will receive professional and career development opportunities, mentor matching, community networking, and more!
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a WFF Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited HBCU at the time of application submission
- Completed at least 24 academic credit hours by the end of the spring semester
- Obtained a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or above
- Must be a United States citizen at the time of application submission
- Must demonstrate financial need

Application Process
Ready to apply? Our streamlined application process is designed to be straightforward and user-friendly so that you can focus on what matters most—your education and career goals. Our application link isn’t available until the Application window opens, so come back March 1 to start the process.
Steps to Apply:
- Review Eligibility: Ensure all criteria are met.
- Prepare Documentation: Gather transcripts, proof of financial need, and any other required documents.
- Submit Application: Complete the online application form and submit it along with necessary documents by the deadline.
