Honorable Louis Stokes HBCU Scholarship
Each year the top-scoring WFF Scholar receives a $6,000 scholarship instead of $5,000 in honor of Congressman Louis Stokes of Ohio, who funded WFF Co-Founder LaShelle Williams-Franklin’s college education at Howard University. Ultimately, this generosity and grace inspired the development of the Williams-Franklin Foundation so we award our Top Scholar each year with a scholarship in his name.
