Sunday Youmans, expected class of 2028, is from Atlanta, Georgia. She is studying Bioengineering at North Carolina A&T University. In summer 2025, she is serving as a summer intern with Smart from the Start Inc., a nonprofit focused on early childhood development in underserved communities. She also joined the organization’s Civil Rights Pilgrimage, traveling to key historical sites across the country to explore Black history and civil rights. At North Carolina A&T, Sunday serves as Mentoring Chair of Mentoring for Her Inc., is a FOSSI Scholar, and was formerly President of the Fashion and Design Club. She is also the founder of Sunday Summer Camp, which she launched in 2021. Upon graduation, her undergraduate degree, she plans to attend medical school and pursue a career as a pediatrician. Her goal is to serve in underserved areas where access to quality pediatric care is limited.
