Kandace Bryant, a returning Williams-Franklin Foundation Scholar, is expected to graduate in 2027 from Spelman College, where she is studying Health Science. During the summer of 2026, Kandace focused on academic, professional, and personal growth by completing Organic Chemistry II and Anatomy & Physiology I while continuing her preparation for a career in medicine. She also earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and gained valuable clinical experience through patient care and hands-on healthcare training. In addition, Kandace continued her involvement in research while preparing for future opportunities in medicine and scientific discovery. Her dedication to leadership, service, and academic excellence reflects her commitment to improving health outcomes and advancing health equity. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s degree while applying to MD-Ph.D. programs with the goal of becoming a physician-scientist.
