Ashley Anderson, expected class of 2026, is from Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Ashley is studying Communications/Media/Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Sports Administration at Howard University. In the summer of 2025, she is a part of the NBA Foundation x HBCU Fellowship. She is one of 73 fellows out of 8,800 applicants. She is interning with the Los Angeles Clippers as a Summer Business Operations intern with their Fan Experience Department. She has successfully contributed to a number of events held at Intuit Dome and oversees staffing for these high-scale events. During her time at Howard, she has served as a member of Lambda Pi Eta Honors Society, School of Communications SHINE Council Member, and Washington Association of Black Journalists. She also had the opportunity to be selected as a 2024-2025 White House HBCU Initiative Scholar and a Howard University Leadership Scholar! Upon graduation, she wishes to attend graduate school.
