Camara Haynes, expected class of 2029, is from Covington, Georgia. She is studying Computer Graphics Technology at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. During the summer of 2026, Camara served as a Creative Intern for A Komposite of HOPE, a nonprofit organization in Snellville, Georgia, where she supported graphic design projects and social media management. She also served as a Media Shadow for the Atlanta Dream under a credentialed team photographer, gaining experience in sports media and visual storytelling. Camara was accepted into the 2026–2027 cohort of the My HBCU Matters Scholar Academy for the second consecutive year, where she will connect with industry leaders and pursue career development opportunities. She was also selected as an HBCUniverse Campus Ambassador, providing opportunities to participate in workshops, pitch competitions, and professional networking experiences. Upon graduation, Camara plans to pursue a career in Product Design Engineering and obtain a Product Design role at a design consultancy.
