The 2017 WFF Panel Discussion and Fundraiser, endorsed by Howard University, was a powerful event focused on the importance of higher education, the role of HBCUs in preparing students for professional careers, and the impact of civic engagement. Moderated by MSNBC contributor Jason Johnson, the panel explored the critical topic of *”The Financial Survival of HBCUs in the 21st Century.”* Distinguished panelists engaged in meaningful dialogue on the challenges and opportunities facing HBCUs, highlighting their continued significance in shaping future leaders. All donations from the event directly supported academic scholarships, reinforcing WFF’s mission to provide educational opportunities for deserving students.
