Sweat for Scholarships Series: Juneteenth Bootcamp

Date: June 20, 2026
Location: Reverchon Park, Dallas, TX

The Williams-Franklin Foundation continued its Sweat for Scholarships Series with a high-energy Juneteenth Bootcamp at Reverchon Park in Dallas, Texas. Led by Reese Ivy, the outdoor workout brought community members together for movement, connection, and a shared commitment to supporting HBCU students. The event was followed by post-workout networking at HG Supply Rooftop, creating space for participants to continue building relationships beyond the workout.

This event was designed to introduce WFF’s mission to new audiences in an active, approachable, and community-centered way. By combining fitness, culture, and purpose, the Bootcamp helped create a meaningful point of connection for supporters who want to give back while participating in experiences that feel fresh, social, and energizing.

As part of the broader Sweat for Scholarships Series, the Juneteenth Bootcamp reflected WFF’s goal of expanding awareness, encouraging student involvement, and building a stronger network around scholarships, mentorship, and career opportunities for HBCU students. Through outdoor fitness events like this, WFF continues to meet people where they are while creating new pathways for engagement and impact.

Thank you to everyone who came out, moved with purpose, and helped make the Juneteenth Bootcamp a successful celebration of wellness, community, and educational opportunity.
