Inaugural HBCU Philanthropy Briefing
Date: November 10, 2026
This November, the Williams-Franklin Foundation will bring together philanthropic leaders, educators, policymakers, and students for our Inaugural HBCU Philanthropy Briefing at the University of the District of Columbia. The evening will center student voices and perspectives on the enduring importance of HBCUs, from creating spaces of belonging and cultural identity to fostering leadership, mentorship, and opportunity.
We’re excited to welcome Dr. Jamal Watson as moderator, alongside panelists Dr. Rehva D. Jones, Interim Howard University president Wayne A. I. Frederick, M.D., MBA, and Howard University student Skyelar Anderson for this important conversation.
Location: University of the District of Columbia
We look forward to bringing together leaders and changemakers for an evening of conversation, connection, and a deeper look at how philanthropy can support the continued impact of HBCUs.
