Terrell Dillard
Board Member
Terrell Dillard is currently the president and regional developer of Jan-Pro of Greater Cleveland, Akron, and Toledo, and Zaymat Distributors. Jan-Pro is the world’s fastest growing commercial cleaning franchise with over 120 markets in 13 countries. Terrell has owned the Northest Ohio market for the past 20 years and has consistently ranked among the “Top 10” cities in the world in several categories. Currently, Terrell assists over 250 local franchise owners who collectively clean over 800 buildings each night.
Zaymat is a full-service industrial, safety, PPE and fuel supply company, selling to a diverse mix of clients around the U.S. From safety gear to Houston Metro Transit, erosion control and concrete restoration products on several infrastructure projects in Ohio, to diesel fuel at Kent State University, MetroHealth Hospital and Duke Energy properties throughout the Carolinas and Alabama. Zaymat makes it happen with the motto, “What you need. Fast.” In 2020, Zaymat was awarded the PPE contract for the State of Utah and Maryland was voted “Ohio’s #1 Diverse Supplier” by the Ohio Minority Supplier Diversity Council and a “Smart 50” company by Smart Business Magazine.
Prior to starting his own business, Terrell was partner/GM with Bonnie Speed Logistics, Cleveland’s largest courier and transportation company, overseeing 2000+ same day deliveries around northeast Ohio, and Northeast Ohio’s top media sales performer for three years running as an account manager with the CBS television affiliate, WOIO. Terrell began his career at Fifth Third Bank, where he became the bank’s youngest AVP and the headquarters’ first retail and vault manager, and the first small business lender in northeast Ohio,
Terrell is a member of Signa Pi Phi fraternity (The Boule) and The National Black Empowerment Council. He is a past board trustee with Cuyahoga Community College Foundation, Team NEO, Lake Erie College, The First Tee of Greater Cleveland, The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio, and past president of Lake County’s mass transit authority, Laketran. Terrell also serves on the board for one of Ohio’s top Asphalt companies, Specialized Construction, where he is also a minority owner.
Terrell graduated from the School of Industrial & Labor Relations at Cornell University, where he was also a member of the university’s Division I basketball team for 4 years. In his spare time, Terrell enjoys playing the drums and golfing, where he is member of one of America’s famed golf courses, Canterbury Country Club in Cleveland, Ohio.
