Naijah Lynes, expected class of 2025, is from Miami, Florida. Naijah is studying Pre-Physical Therapy at Florida A&M University. In the summer of 2024, she took summer classes to stay on track with her academic goals. Additionally, she was eager to work as a Business Operations Intern for MCO Construction & Services, Incorporated. In this role, she gained valuable hands-on experience in the business side of the construction industry, learning about project management, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. This internship has allowed her to develop and enhance practical skills and knowledge that will benefit her future career endeavors. During her time at FAMU, she has had the chance to be a strength and conditioning intern for the Athletics Department. She is also a part of different organizations such as the National Society of Black Women in Medicine Inc. and Impressions of Beauty. Outside of school she has worked as a Nail Technician at Venetian Nail Spa in Perrysburg, Ohio, and a dedicated volunteer coach for the football team at Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, Florida. Upon graduation, she wants to complete her PA program and begin her career as a Physician Assistant, focusing on dermatology with a specialization in melanin skin. She also plans to start exploring opportunities in sports medicine within professional sports.
