Max Fuentes, expected class of 2019, is from El Salvador. Max has already earned an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and is currently earning his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of the District of Columbia, comprised of 81 undergraduate and graduate academic degree programs. Currently, he works for Tutoring Center as a Supplemental Instructor where he helps bilingual children improve their English. He has also been active on the University of the District of Columbia by working as a Front Desk Assistant. Max is bilingual and is the first to graduate with a college degree in his family. After graduation, Max plans to become a counselor to help decrease mental health issues facing low-income communities.
