Returning WFF Scholar Jaylah Dorman, expected class of 2025, is from Durham, North Carolina. Jaylah is studying Health Education| Community Health at Howard University. In the summer of 2024, She earned a phlebotomy certification and gave summer tours as a student ambassador. She also studied abroad in Mexico, taking Spanish classes and a medical internship in a hospital. She founded a non-profit organization, HBCU Alumni Building Lasting Engagement (HBCU A.B.L.E.), to bridge the gap between generations and create a pipeline of opportunities through mentorship, professional development, and affirmation.
