Marvellous Oke

Junior Board Member

Marvellous Oke is a research scientist, and adjunct faculty member with a strong commitment to education, health equity, and community empowerment. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Chemistry from Morgan State University and her graduate degree in Biomedical Informatics from The George Washington University. Her professional work spans government research, data-driven health initiatives, and higher education, and she is the author of multiple peer-reviewed publications focused on behavioral and health sciences.
Marvellous is the founder of MotivHealth Research Institute, where she leverages artificial intelligence, data analytics, and translational research to advance equitable behavioral and mental health outcomes. Through community-engaged research and evidence-driven innovation, her work focuses on improving early identification, access to care, and outcome measurement for underserved populations.
A proud recipient of the Williams Franklin Foundation Scholarship in 2019, Marvellous now serves as Vice Chair of the WFF Junior Board, honored to give back to the organization that supported her academic journey and to help expand its impact for future generations.
