Kyla Mayo is an exceptional individual who values personal growth and reflection, integrity, and community engagement. In 2024, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Medicine. She is deeply involved in community service, including but not limited to work with Volunteer Hub for the Unhoused and participation in neonatal comfort care initiatives that help reduce pharmacologic treatment for infants experiencing opioid withdrawal. She is also the founder of the KM Scholarship.
In addition, she serves as a leader of the local chapters of several organizations, including the Christian Medical & Dental Association and the Health Professional Recruitment and Exposure Program. Her passions include women’s health, preventive care, and supporting students pursuing higher education. In the future, she aspires to have an impactful career as a physician, establish a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing educational access, and promoting women’s health.
