Leonard Anderson, expected class of 2028, is from Jackson, Tennessee. Leonard is studying Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Military Transportation Science at Tuskegee University. During the summer of 2026, Leonard continued his academic journey by completing nine credit hours at Tuskegee University, including Calculus III, Physics II, and a physical education course, while making steady progress toward his degree. Beyond the classroom, Leonard remains committed to mentorship, leadership, and community service. As a Symphony Ambassador, he mentors young musicians and helps create an encouraging environment where students can develop their talents and confidence. He is also an active member of the Tuskegee University Rocketry Club, where he helps inspire youth from underrepresented communities to pursue careers in engineering and innovation. Additionally, Leonard serves as a youth counselor and football coach with his local Parks and Recreation Department, guiding young athletes both on and off the field. Upon graduation, he plans to attend graduate school to continue his studies in engineering.
