Another Successful Year: WFF Achievements and 2025 Goals

Achievements and 2025 Goals

The Williams-Franklin Foundation (WFF) has long been committed to transforming lives through our mission of supporting students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Reflecting on a decade of impactful service, 2024 marked a milestone year filled with incredible achievements and 2025 goals that pave the way for an even brighter future. As we celebrates our success, we are also setting bold targets for the year ahead, reaffirming our dedication to empowering HBCU students and fostering leadership within communities.

Reflecting on 2024 Achievements

The year 2024 was a significant milestone for WFF, celebrating our 10th anniversary with remarkable accomplishments. Among the most notable achievements, the foundation awarded $124,000 in scholarships to 24 exceptional HBCU students, the highest annual scholarship total in its history. This record-breaking disbursement highlights our unwavering commitment to eliminating financial barriers and ensuring access to quality education.

These achievements and 2025 goals are underpinned by WFF’s dedication to holistic student support. In 2024, the foundation achieved a 100% graduation rate among its scholars. This success highlights the impact of its scholarships, mentorship programs, and professional development initiatives. It reflects not only a focus on academic success but also a commitment to preparing students for thriving careers.

WFF also strengthened partnerships with corporate and philanthropic organizations in 2024, creating new opportunities for scholars to engage in internships and gain real-world experience. These collaborations have set the stage for continued growth, aligning with our 2025 goals of expanding its reach and impact.

Ambitious 2025 Fundraising and Scholarship Goals

As WFF looks to the future, our 2025 goals include raising $300,000 to support an even larger number of HBCU students. This ambitious fundraising target will enable the foundation to expand its scholarship offerings, ensuring that more students have access to the financial resources they need to succeed.

In addition to financial aid, WFF plans to enhance its programming for scholars by continuing to focus on career development. The Mentor Matching Program, a cornerstone of the foundation’s efforts, will remain a priority. By pairing students with professionals in fields aligned with their career aspirations, WFF equips scholars with the guidance and connections needed to excel.

We aim to introduce multi-year scholarships in 2025, providing sustained support throughout students’ academic journeys. These efforts align with WFF’s vision of creating long-term solutions to educational challenges while reinforcing its reputation as a leader in the HBCU community.

Expanding Impact Through Events and Networking

Another key aspect of WFF’s 2025 goals is hosting impactful events that engage scholars, alumni, and supporters. The annual Fundraising Gala will serve as a platform to celebrate achievements and generate critical funds for scholarships.

Additionally, WFF will offer virtual workshops designed to equip scholars with essential skills for success. Topics will include personal finance, professional communication, and job application strategies. These workshops will feature alumni panels and industry experts, providing students with actionable insights and opportunities to build their professional networks.

Strengthening the alumni network is another focus for 2025. By encouraging past scholars to become mentors and advocates, WFF aims to create a self-sustaining cycle of support that benefits current and future recipients. These initiatives reinforce the foundation’s mission of fostering leadership and community within the HBCU ecosystem.

Building on Success: Achievements and 2025 Goals

The Williams-Franklin Foundation’s commitment to its mission is evident in the accomplishments of 2024 and our ambitious 2025 goals. By achieving record-breaking milestones and setting new targets, WFF continues to transform lives and uplift HBCU students.

As WFF expands scholarships, enhances mentorship programs, and creates impactful events, it ensures students have the resources and skills needed to succeed. These achievements and 2025 goals inspire current scholars and strengthen the HBCU community, building a foundation for a brighter future.

Join us in supporting our mission and be a part of another transformative year. Together, we can achieve more and empower the next generation of leaders.
