Jayden Rush, expected class of 2022, is from Charlotte, North Carolina. Jayden is a Strategic, Legal, and Management Communications student at Howard University. At Howard, Jayden is an award-winning attorney on the Howard University Mock Trial Team and has served as the Executive Treasurer. He has experience as a Political Intern for the Collective Political Action Committee aiding 200+ Black candidates with their 2020 political campaigns. Additionally, Jayden was a Legislative Intern at the Office of U.S. Senator Cory Booker for which he conducted research on criminal justice and education initiatives. Jayden is the Vice President and Partnership Director at Treasher, Inc, a nonprofit organization working to mentor, educate, and inspire young girls in Charlotte, NC. Upon graduation, Jayden will attend law school to become an attorney and advocate for change in the K-12 education system.
