Returning WFF Scholar Sanai Neblett, class of 2025, is from Dacula, Georgia. She is studying Psychology (Pre-med) at Hampton University. In the summer of 2024, she enrolled in 2 summer classes: Anatomy and Organic Chemistry 2. She also shadowed physicians to explore other specialties. In 2023, Sanai shadowed an OBGYN in Atlanta, GA, at Piedmont’s Women’s Healthcare, where she had the chance to participate in many surgeries, procedures, and patient interactions. <br /> <br /> At Hampton, she had the opportunity to participate in the HU Chem Research program, where she researched the structure and function of Brucella Ovis, a bacteria transport protein. As a merit scholar and presidential community service awardee, she plans to continue to succeed and remain involved in her collegiate journey by giving back to others. Upon graduation, Sanai plans on pursuing a gap year to focus on medical school applications and preparation while working for the Center for Disease Control.
